One of the highlights of my family's recent trip to Disney was to participate in Disney's Dive Quest. The tour departs at sea Living in Disney's Epcot. What a trip! We arrived on our tour time (around 4:30 Clock), opposite the main entrance to Epcot, near the Blue Shield, where our experienced instructors.
A look behind the scenes tour of the Seas Living with a history of first installation. Classroom time was a video, and data on safety and rules. Staffwas more than polite and answered all questions thoroughly. We had to show our cards appear (necessary) and enter basic information that is provided outside of our dive. All the devices except for a mask, snorkel, if not surprising, Disney requires that you contribute to their gear OK, so that each is similar.
By the start of the dive to remain with the teachers and carry around to different areas of photographic services. The immersion is recorded on video andYou can buy them at the end. We made our first family photos (it was across the very thick "plastic"). Then we went to a reservoir of air under the water, where we let our masks, wave to the camera and can take say, hello. The occasion last picture was when we went with the structure of rock in the tank.
The Living Seas has 8,000 species of life under water and she was really the most diverse population, that I have ever seen on a dive. There were 4 giant turtles bigger than me, sharks and many tropical fish. During the dive, you are not allowed to touch the wildlife (including coral, which is wrong), but the turtle has a brush with me. Very cool. Thought I was a bit 'more nervous with the sharks, but they were very close, and once or twice I just swam away from them. That was really a dive for a lifetime. The dive lasted 45 minutes (15-20 withTrainers). The whole tour is 2 1 / 2 to 3 hours.
After the dive we returned to the room well-stocked wardrobe. They offer everything, including towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, etc. Everything you might need before and after. Women receive for their special relationship, the hair, does not injure the animals, if a rubber band is during the dive. Nothing is rushed.
When we returned to school, we got Divequest Disney T-shirts, pins andshown the film Dip. Of course, we bought (it was about $ 20 or $ 30). There were the drinks of tea and coffee / soda / water.
The dive will cost $ 140.00 and is not necessary for admission to Epcot for the day have the draft. So if you were one days spent at hotel / swimming pool, and then save the Divequest one days, you could increase Once you're done, why not escorted out of the park (though) there are approximately 6:30 Clock. Adults emergeCertification (NAUI / PADI) is necessary and request a driver's license or other government issued photo ID. You must be at least 12 years of being in The Living Seas, and my baby has an interest in diving.
